The Future, 1929

Inspirations and references were
- model and muse ~Mart-elle;
- my vintage postcard collection (e.g. [link]);
- some Ukrainian architecture
and I should also give thanks to ~Larchick and my Russian penpal Maria (not on DA) who, each in their own way, acquainted me with the expression счастье есть (for ~Larchick [link]).

This is one of my most extensively researched pieces, and yet almost none of it is true.
But happiness exists.

Tech notes
Monochromatic digital painting, except for the lipstick. No tracing, external copy-pasting. The sepia-filter was only used for my logo (bottom left), the colour of the lipstick was cloned from outside and I had a little bit of help from the Histogram curve, but for the rest the colours were painted as you see them!

Corel Paintshop Pro XI, Wacom Bamboo pentablet.

Final working size (for the main picture, I lost a larger copy by a saving error) 1280 x 960 px. If you want me to post a larger copy to improve DA print quality, let me know.
